About the BVL
The Brampton Volleyball League is a volunteer-run, not-for-profit adult volleyball organization serving Brampton and surrounding communities. Since 1981, the BVL has provided organized indoor and outdoor volleyball across a variety of formats and skill levels.
BVL programs are designed for adult participants. Individual programs or events may also have specific eligibility or registration requirements, which will be identified when registration opens.
The BVL offers opportunities ranging from recreational through intermediate, advanced, and competitive play. Available skill levels vary by division and program.
Participation in multiple divisions may be possible depending on the program, schedule, eligibility requirements, and available space. Please review the applicable registration information or contact the BVL for current details.
Registration
Registration dates vary by session and program. Current registration announcements will be posted on the BVL website and through BVL communication channels.
Players interested in registering a full team or as an individual can visit the BVL Registration page and follow the registration link to MySportsApp. Registration options vary by program; individual registration is offered where available.
From there, follow the registration instructions, provide the required information and complete payment where applicable. Additional instructions will be provided as part of the registration process.

Sessions & Divisions
Current BVL programming includes Coed Spiking 6s, Coed Non-Spiking 6s, Coed Reverse 4s, Women’s 6s, Outdoor Coed 4s, Drop-In Volleyball, and Clinics. Available formats vary between the Indoor and Outdoor Sessions.
Non-Spiking volleyball uses a modified six-player format that restricts traditional power attacking or spiking at the net. The format emphasizes rallies, placement, teamwork, and recreational play. Refer to the applicable BVL rule set for the complete rules.
Indoor games are played at various gyms and facilities in Brampton. Final locations for each session will be announced when available.
BVL Outdoor Session games are played at Chinguacousy Park in Brampton.
Indoor games may be scheduled between approximately 6:00 PM and 10:00 PM.
Outdoor games may be scheduled between approximately 6:30 PM and 10:30 PM.
Specific game times are provided through the league schedule.
Schedules & Standings
BVL schedules, standings, team information, and other league-management information are provided through MySportsApp. Use the Player Portal on the BVL website to access the platform.

Substitutions
Substitution rules vary by division and program. Teams must follow the applicable BVL substitution policy and division rules.

Cancellations & Weather
Important cancellations, facility changes, weather notices, and other urgent updates may be posted on the BVL website and communicated through BVL channels.
The BVL may cancel, postpone, or adjust scheduled play when weather, air quality, facility conditions, or other circumstances make play unsuitable. Check official BVL updates before travelling when conditions are uncertain.

Playoffs
